TIP 10

 

Cable fault locator TIP 10 is developed for locating faults in telephone and data cables. In TIP 10 the signal is fed through  locator coil. The receiver is connected to the cable, to which the signal  transmitted by the coil is induced. The induced signal does not interfere the normal operation of telephone or data cable. After cable fault location the  signal disappears, after which the fault location is located more accurately  with smaller locator coil.
